Building strong foundations for the year ahead
The April Bootcamp is where the Taqweem journey begins - a three-week immersive experience that awakens young minds to their Islamic identity, purpose, and the responsible use of technology.
Themes 1-3 explore Purpose, Identity and Worldview, Knowledge, Values and Responsibility, and Foundations of Law, Ethics and Accountability. These foundational concepts are brought to life through hands-on activities, storytelling, and gentle technology introduction.
Participants engage with introductory AI and coding, digital storytelling basics, and emotional check-ins through SukunSphere. The focus is on discovery, wonder, and building a strong ethical foundation.
What participants will achieve in April
Understand Islamic worldview concepts including ubudiyyah (servitude) and khilafah (stewardship) appropriate for young learners.
Develop healthy relationship with technology, understanding its role as a tool for good.
Introduction to coding concepts, AI awareness, and digital creation tools.
Build attention, self-awareness, and emotional regulation through SukunSphere activities.
Master foundational Quranic terms: khalifah, amanah, fitrah, ilm, hikmah, taqwa.
Begin developing moral reasoning through age-appropriate scenarios and stories.
